Controversial Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has set the record straight about his academic journey in the United Kingdom. Last year, the self-proclaimed “Princess of Africa” grabbed headlines when he announced his admission to a British university. However, recent social media reports suggested that Brown’s stay in the UK was more of a visit than a formal education pursuit.
Responding to the rumors, James Brown took to his Instagram page to address the issue directly. In a video message, he clarified that he indeed enrolled in Bellshefield University in London but had to drop out due to financial constraints.
“I hear say dem say I no go school for London. Una dey craze? Una eyes blind? Do I do fake life? No! See my university card, Bellshefield University, London. I dropped out because I couldn’t afford the fees,” he explained.
Brown candidly shared that his decision to leave the UK was influenced by the unexpectedly high cost of living and education expenses. He disclosed spending a substantial amount, approximately £12,900, and realizing that such expenditure wasn’t sustainable for him. As a result, he opted to return to Nigeria, emphasizing the exorbitant nature of London’s school fees.
