All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for speakership of the incoming 10th House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas, has congratulated helmsmen of Bauchi and Rivers states, Bala Mohammed and Siminalayi Fubara, on their emergence as chairman and vice chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum.
The lawmaker said he was elated that the two leaders were elected by colleagues to pilot affairs of the forum on account on their leadership qualities and readiness to serve the people.
In a statement from his campaign office, Abbas, who represents Zaria Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, said he is convinced that the duo would give their best in their new assignment. He lauded both governors, noting that not only are they deserving of their new positions, but are also a perfect match for the task ahead.
The Kaduna State indigene acknowledged the contributions of pair to nation-building, urging them to work with their colleagues from other political parties for Nigeria’s betterment.
While wishing them success in their new engagements, Abbas pleaded with governors across the divide to support the duo in delivering creditably.
