The yearly feast and platform for documentary films—-IREPRESENT International Film Festival will hold on the scheduled days of March 21 to 24 in Lagos. Regarded as the leading platform for documentary film promotion in Nigeria and West Africa, this year’s edition is holding under the theme: RIGHTING THE FUTURE. Over 45 films are expected to be screened at two venues hosting the festival—Freedom Park, Lagos and Alliance Francais-Mike Adenuga Centre in Ikoyi. The organizers have earlier announced that this edition of the festival is designated as ‘The Soyinka Edition’ and it is being held to commemorate the 90th birthday of Nobel Laureate Professor Wole Soyinka.
