Rapid Response Squad (RRS) operatives have arrested a robbery suspect, Akinjobi Wahab, who attempted to snatch their motorcycle.
Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement, said the suspect was arrested by the RRS operatives who were patrolling on their motorcycle.
The 19-year-old machete-wielding suspect was arrested at about 4:00 am on Acme Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
Wahab was arrested in the company of four others who are now at large, Hundeyin said.
This is coming on the heels of the emplacement of regular foot and vehicular patrols in the area by the Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi.
The suspect will be arraigned as soon as investigations are concluded.
