Bas taps Black Sherif, Kel-P on Blood, Sweat and Tears

Bas
For its latest feat within the global music scene, Afrobeats has bagged another milestone with Blood, Sweat and Tears, the second lead single for Hollywood’s Creed III official motion picture soundtrack. Joining the award-winning American-Sudanese rapper and producer Bas, Ghanaian Hip Hop maverick Black Sherif and Nigeria’s Grammy-winning act Kel-P bare their musical weight on this emotive Afro-fusion track.

The song follows the previously released song, Ma Boy, featuring J.I.D and Lute, while completesoundtrack will be released on March 3rd on Dreamville/Interscope Records alongside the film’s theatrical release.

Dreamville (founded by Grammy-winning American rapper J.Cole) is executively producing the official soundtrack to CREED III alongside Proximity Media (Ryan Coogler, Ludwig Göransson, Archie Davis), Outlier Society (Michael B. Jordan) and Executive Music Producer Frank Brim. The acclaimed franchise’s third instalment was directed by Michael B. Jordan features music from artists within the Dreamville roster and beyond.

On Blood, Sweat and Tears, Black Sherif takes on a soulful mien, melodically chanting his bars, while Kel-P blazes through with a Yoruba-inflected verse, both offering aspirational lyrics on the cathartic instrumental.

Blood, Sweat and Tears is out across streaming services.
