Davido Hints at a Joint EP with Kizz Daniel

Nigerian superstar Davido has stirred up anticipation among his fans after he tweeted about a potential collaboration with fellow Afrobeats star Kizz Daniel.

The singer, who recently released his fourth studio album Timeless, said he thinks a joint EP with Kizz Daniel would be “dope” after his next album.

Davido tweeted: “After my next album I think a Davido x @KizzDaniel EP will be dope!” The tweet has since received over 708,000 views and 24,000 likes.

The two artists worked together on the hit single ‘Twe Twe,’ which was released in January 2024 and has gained 5.7 million views on YouTube.

Davido and Kizz Daniel are widely regarded as two of the most influential and successful Afrobeats artists of the 21st century.

They have both won numerous awards and accolades, such as the MTV Africa Music Awards, the Headies, the African Muzik Magazine Awards, and the BET Awards. They have also collaborated with international artists such as Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and Rae Sremmurd.

While the details and release dates for Davido’s next album and the proposed EP are yet to be confirmed, fans are expecting a dynamic fusion of the two artists’ sounds.

The EP would also mark the first time two Nigerian artists release a full-length project together, similar to ‘Her Loss’, the joint album between American rappers Drake and 21 Savage.
