Foundation unveils Project SheEnabled in Kaduna


EGO Foundation has unveiled its latest project SheEnabled in Kaduna to further foster economic empowerment among women entrepreneurs.


According to the Foundation, it has a vision to create tangible pathways for women’s economic advancement by consistently spearheading impactful initiatives aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by women in accessing opportunities for growth and development in various communities.

In this phase of the project, the Foundation has turned its focus to Sabo-Kaduna, a vibrant community brimming with entrepreneurial potential. Recognizing the importance of tailored interventions, Project SheEnabled has been meticulously designed to meet the specific needs and aspirations of women entrepreneurs in this locale.

Executive Director of the Foundation, Toluwase Olaniyan, emphasized the organization’s unwavering commitment to empowering women from diverse backgrounds


He stressed that the foundation has long been recognized as a trailblazer in advocating for women’s economic rights and opportunities across Nigeria.

“At EGO Foundation, we believe that empowering women is not just a moral imperative but a strategic investment in the future of our communities, Project SheEnabled epitomizes our dedication to providing women entrepreneurs in Sabo-Kaduna with the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive,” he said.

He added that partnering with key stakeholders such as Access Bank, discussions centered on practical strategies to enhance financial management skills and facilitating access to funding opportunities aim to empower women to leverage financial resources effectively, thereby driving sustainable economic growth within the community.


The project at Sabo-Kaduna witnessed outstanding participation from local stakeholders, community leaders, and aspiring women entrepreneurs. 800 women gathered to engage in informative sessions focused on essential topics such as financial literacy, business management, and access to resources.

The event was marked by a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose, with participants expressing optimism about the transformative potential of Project SheEnabled.
