The organisers of the annual Hotel Manager Conference (HMC) 2023 have opened portals for nominations by industry stakeholders and the travelling public.
Billed to hold in Owerri, Imo State capital between July 13 and 14, Chief Executive Officer and Convener, Olugbenga Omotayo Sunday, who is also the Managing Director of Tojum Hospitality, promoters of Ibarapa Tourism, disclosed that the awards has LG Electronics Nigeria as its headline sponsor.
“The Hotel Managers Conference and Awards is a prestigious platform established to recognise, honour and celebrate outstanding hotels and managers that have excelled in various aspects of their operations, such as guest satisfaction, quality of service, hotel, design, sustainability, innovation, and overall performance.”
Sunday also revealed that this year’s HMC 2023 Awards have received added categories. “Last year there were only 16 awards categories. For this year, a total of 21 categories are out for nominations. These include; Best Luxury Boutique Hotel in Nigeria; Best Luxury Business Hotel; Best Luxury Lifestyle Hotel in Nigeria; Best City Business Hotel; Best Customer Friendly Hotel in Nigeria; The Longest Serving/Sustaining Hotel in Nigeria; Best NGO Patronised Hotel in Nigeria; Most Popular Hotel Nigeria; HMC Friendly/Partner Award; Most Luxurious Hotel Destination; Best Boutique Hotel in Nigeria; Best Indigenous Chain Hotel; Best Eco-Friendly Hotel; Best Resort in Nigeria; Best Digital Hotel in Nigeria; and Best Holiday Hotel in Nigeria. Others are; Best Outdoor Experience Centre; Biggest Restaurant and Bar in Nigeria; Best New Hospitality Facility; Hotel Managers Choice Grill and Bar Centre; and Best Top 10 Indigenous Hotel Managers in Nigeria.
