The Ibru Centre has been in existence since 1989. Located at Ring Road, Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli North Local Council Area, Delta State, Nigeria, the centre, founded by Dr. Alex Uruemu Ibru, is a serene environment to meet.
It is an International Centre, as well as an Ecumenical Centre, managed by the Trinity Foundation under the leadership of the Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, Anglican Communion. It is not only open to groups, but also open to individuals for group retreats, conferences, family vacation, picnics, leadership training, short and long-term courses and seminars.
Others include wedding receptions, booth camping, West Africa/educational trainings, inter-school summit/competition, college of Bishops’ retreats, meetings for NGOs, capacity building, human developments and many more.
Over the years, the centre has served as venue for a yearly retreat for the Archbishops and Bishops of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). It has also been patronised by other Senior Clergy of the Anglican Communion, Knights and Ladies, schools, NYSC, Roman Catholics, Dominion City, Baptist Conferences, Redeemed Church, Christ Embassy, College of Bishops from other churches, Adventist Church, Pentecostals, Evangelicals, Holiness Assemblies, Cooperative Society, Rotary Club of Nigeria, Federation of College Students, religious and non-religious bodies, among others.
The centre is a special meeting point where people meet with God rejuvenate their spiritual lives, and get propelled for more spiritual encounter with the Most High. So, programmes are organised in partnership and exclusively by the centre or groups.
The centre has up to date facilities including swimming pool, library, executive suits, standard rooms, special rooms for prayers, different sizes of halls, conference halls, Chapel, open space, palm groove, catering services, dinning, bus for Airport pickups, gym section, basketball court, table tennis, and lots more.
The environment is serene, spacious, and blessed with trained, disciplined, mature, seasoned and God-fearing staff.
Security is guaranteed within the centre for your outdoor early morning meditation, games and walkouts. It is not a place anyone will regret visiting. We urged you to give it a trial this year.
