A Young Nigerian lawyer and an investment funds attorney at Fried Frank, Femi Gbede, has been named one of the top 40 black lawyers under 40.
He earned recognition because of his legal success and professional reputation in New York, United States of America. The recognition is alongside his selection as a member of the group’s elite network of African American attorneys.
Gbede, at the New York office of the firm, advises on the structuring and offering of private investment funds and other alternative investment vehicles.
His practice focuses on all aspects of fund formation and other highly complex transactions.
An alumnus of the New York University School of Law and Cambridge University, Gbede was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year award at 2021 ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards.
