J Cole teams up with Wizkid for Dreamville Festival

As Wizkid continues to soar as a global billboard of African music, Grammy-winning rapper, Jermaine Cole, has enlisted the singer to be among the main performing acts at the much-anticipated Dreamville Festival, in North Carolina, United States.

The award, which holds on April 2 and 3, would see Wizkid perform on Saturday, alongside other global heavyweights such as Jarule, Ashanti, Lil Baby, Mereba, Earthgang, among others. The festival continues on Sunday, with Lil Wayne, Jeezy, T.I., Ari Lennox, Moneybagg Yo, Bia, Rico Nasty, Wale, and Larry June, and a headlining set from J. Cole to close out the weekend.

According to the Dreamville Festival’s president, “We always set out to curate something special. Our Dreamville family has been patiently waiting for the fest’s return and now we’re back with a lineup unlike anything else found in today’s event landscape.”

Wizkid is also set to headline the Yam Carnival, which is an annual Afrobeats festival, in London, on August 27.
