Recognised around the globe for its rich music history and heritage which cuts across musical genres and takes in live performances, as well as a legendary nightclubbing scene, organisers of music’s biggest global celebration, MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMAs), MTV Base, a leading youth entertainment brand has announced that this year’s edition of the award will take place at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The MTV EMAs is one of the biggest global music celebrations that brings together local and international artistes to create iconic performances for fans around the world.
Originally conceived as an alternative to the MTV Video Music Awards, which are hosted annually in the United States; the awards are presented by Paramount International Networks to honour artistes and music in pop culture.
