Nigeria debuts at Paris Agriculture show


The Embassy of France in Nigeria has announced Nigeria’s debut participation in the 60th Edition of the Paris International Agricultural Show, set to unfold from February 24th to March 3rd, 2024.


This landmark event, recognised as Europe’s largest of its kind, serves as a beacon for the Agro-allied industry, France’s foremost industrial sector.

In a significant step, Nigeria will grace the Paris International Agricultural Show with the inaugural Pride of Nigeria Pavilion. The Pavilion will serve as a vibrant showcase, spotlighting an extensive array of Nigerian agricultural products, including Cocoa, Palm oil, Cassava, Yam, Sorghum, Cashew nuts, maize, millet, and honey.

This endeavour seeks to propel Nigerian agricultural excellence onto the global stage, amplifying the nation’s abundant agricultural heritage and untapped potential.


The Paris International Agricultural Show provides a platform for Nigeria to foster engagements with international stakeholders, delve into promising trade prospects, and spotlight ground breaking innovations within the agricultural domain.

It also serves as a testament to the growing partnership between France and Nigeria in the agricultural industry. Leading the charge, the Nigerian delegation will be spearheaded by the distinguished Federal Minister of Agriculture and Food Safety, Senator Abubakar Kyari.

Joining the minister are renowned Nigerian agribusiness titans such as Flour Mills Nigeria, BUA Group, and Dangote Industries, alongside banking institutions including, Access and Zenith Bank, underscoring the robust presence of Nigeria’s agribusiness sector at the event.

The Embassy of France in Nigeria extends an open invitation to all stakeholders, industry enthusiasts, and the wider public to immerse themselves in the captivating experience of the Pride of Nigeria Pavilion at the Paris International Agricultural Show.
