Rivers women console Fubara’s wife over mother’s death

Women drawn from the 23 local councils of Rivers State, led by the Deputy Governor, Ngozi Odu, have condoled with the governor’s wife, Valerie Fubara, over the demise of her mother, the late Adeline Jaja, who passed on at the age of 87.

The women, at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Port Harcourt, expressed their sympathy to the state’s First Family over the loss. Odu, in a statement signed by Deputy Media Assistant to Wife of the Governor, Bridget Jumbo, said the deceased was a great mother who served humanity selflessly and diligently.

She said: “Mama is irreplaceable, but we’ll be there for you, and continue to demonstrate our commitment to you and the governor, your husband.”
In her remarks, Fubara thanked the women for their concern and show of love, and urged them to remain united.
