Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja has finally revealed her husband’s face to the world in videos shared on her social media platforms during their traditional wedding ceremony in Abuja.

The actress, who announced her engagement on March 23, 2024, had kept her fiancé’s identity a secret. This brought about some curiosity about the identity and appearance of her fiancé among her fans and followers.

But today’s wedding video put those questions to rest. Ooja shared a clip on her Instagram page showcasing her and her now-husband, both looking radiant in their traditional attire. Most especially, the actress donned a stunning white attire with a silver gele. While her husband sported a classic white Igbo agbada with a red cap and traditional beads.

The revelation comes after months of speculation and curiosity surrounding Ooja’s husband’s identity. Popular Nigerian pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo, even weighed in on the issue. He made a somewhat shady post describing the practice of hiding partners’ faces on social media as “another form of madness.”

In the video, she captioned it with a simple and short message. She wrote, “Introducing the King of my heart, my absolute King!!!! #loveunitesus24 #crazyaboutus24”

In a short clip of Sharon’s husband speaking to her parents, he said, “So to them, I’m grateful and honoured that you gave me an opportunity to be a part of your family. I gained incredible sisters and an amazing wife and I think my life is complete.”

Additionally, fellow actress and Ex Big Brother Naija housemate, Bisola Aiyeola, is Sharon Ooja’s chief bridesmaid. The two have been friends for a relatively long time and this has formed into a close bond.

Furthermore, the wedding guest list includes celebrity guests and fellow Nollywood actors. Some of them are comedian Real Warri Pikin, Mimi Onaloja, Inidima Okojie, Nancy Isime, Beverly Osu, and Jemima Osunde among others.
