Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, has described Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State as the first and best in infrastructure development.

He spoke just as Wike assured Rivers State residents that they will continue to enjoy infrastructure development because the incoming Governor Siminalayi Fubara will continue where he will stop.

Wike spoke, yesterday, during the inauguration of Mgbuoba/Ozuoba Ada-George Junction Flyover in Obio-Akpor Council of the state, which was performed by Ortom.

The governor reiterated his determination to complete every project that his administration has started. He said should anyone be left uncompleted, the governor-elect will complete them.

“Assuming you did not support the governor-elect, what would have happened if another governor from another party had emerged? I thank God that you didn’t listen to them.”

Wike noted that with the Mgbuoba/Ozuoba Ada-George Junction Flyover completed, the usual traffic logjam associated with the area has been tackled.

Inaugurating the project, Ortom commended the improvement Wike’s administration has brought to bear on the landscape of Port Harcourt in terms of delivery of infrastructure.

Ortom said the monumental change achieved by Wike has impacted positively on Rivers people.

He described Wike as a bridge builder and a worthy example, who has made democratic governance more meaningful.
